Customs Tribunal Bench-II postpones hearing of 2 cases till Dec 23

ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II on Wednesday adjourned hearing of couple of cases till December 23 after brief hearings.

Single bench, comprising of Member Juridical, Muhammad Maqsood ul Hassan heard the case filed by Asghar Javed, who had made collector customs a respondent. As the hearing started, representative of collector customs submitted comments on the petition as per the direction of the tribunal judge. The tribunal adjourned hearing subsequently following absence of main counsel from the respondent’s side.

Meanwhile, in another case filed by Collector Customs, Islamabad against Muhammad Ayyaz, the judge directed tribunal to serve the respondent with a notice through registered post and adjourned hearing as the respondent side had not reached the tribunal to take part in the case proceedings.
