Customs Tribunal hears 17 cases on Monday

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Khawaja Omer Mehdi heard 17 cases on Monday and adjourned all of them until the next dates of hearing.

Customs Appellate Tribunal heard four cases on the directions of Lahore High Court (LHC), including Tahir Rauf versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence, Faiz Hussain versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence, Farhad Ali versus Customs Intelligence.

Furthermore, the tribunal members heard two stay cases both are filed by the Bashir Pipe Industries against Lahore Customs.

On Monday, the Customs Tribunal heard eleven regular cases, including Hafiz Steel versus Multan Customs Intelligence, Chudhary Farooq Raza versus Sambrial Customs, Crescent Textile versus Faisalabad Customs, another case of Crescent Textile versus Faisalabad Customs and Kalash Textile versus Faisalabad Customs.

The tribunal heard further cases of Shahir Hussain versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence, Shehnaz Perveen versus Lahore Customs Intelligence, Zeshan Afzal versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence, Muhammad Afzal versus Lahore Customs, D.K.Indust versus Gujrat Customs Intelligence and Afsar Raza versus Faisalabad Customs.
