Customs Tribunal hears 20 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 32 cases on Thursday and adjourned all of them until next hearing.

The Customs Tribunal heard four cases on the directions of the Lahore High Court (LHC), including two appeals of Sitara Spinning versus Lahore Customs, Fiaz Hussain versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation, Faisalabad, Farhad Ali versus Multan Customs Intelligence, Muhammad Wali versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence.

Furthermore, the tribunal members heard three stay cases, including Mali Khan versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence.

On Thursday, the Customs Tribunal heard 15 regular cases, including Six Star Sports versus Sambrial Customs, Sakhawat Ali versus Gujrat Customs Intelligence, Ali Shan versus Multan Customs, four appeals of Zafar & Brothers versus Multan Customs.

The tribunal also heard cases filed by Pak Elect versus Lahore Post Clearance Audit (PCA), Wapda Nespak versus Multan Customs, Muhammad Latif versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence, Multan Customs versus Mian Muhamamd Naeem.

The Tribunal also heard cases of A.J .Textile versus Lahore Customs, Bashir Pipe Industries versus Lahore Customs, Sardar Muhammad versus Lahore Customs Intelligence, Rehmanullah versus Lahore Customs Intelligence, Hafiz Steel versus Multan Customs Intelligence, Shah PVC Coated and Shafiq Khan versus Lahore Customs Intelligence.
