Customs Valuation issues latest values of hair brushes

KARACHI: Customs Valuation has issued revised customs values of hair brushes vide Valuation Ruling No. 932/2016.

The values of different types of hair brushes were earlier determined vide Valuation Ruling No.665/2014 around two years ago. The values needed revision in line with the prices prevailing in the international market.

So, Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon initiated an exercise to determine the latest values for hair brushes of different regions. Hair brushes under PCT 9603.2900 of China origin will now be assessed at $4.10 per kilogramme, while brushes of all other origins would be assessed at $5.35/kg.
