Customs Valuation re-determines values of motorcycle helmets

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate of Customs Valuation has revised the values of imported motorcycle helmets.

Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon re-determined the customs values of motorcycle helmets through Valuation Ruling No.914/2016, which was earlier determined vide Valuation ruling No.578/2013.

The customs values under PCT 6506.1000 of motorcycle helmets (half face) of China origin are fixed at $2.6/piece, and all other origins at $3.1/piece. The customs values under PCT 6506.1000 of motorcycle helmets (full face) of China origin are fixed at $2.8/piece, and all other origins at $3.4/piece. The customs values under PCT 6506.1000 of motorcycle helmets (cross shaped) of China origin are fixed at $8.0/piece, and all other origins at $9.5/piece.
