Customs valuation rulings uploaded on WeBOC timely: DG

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has informed the Federal Board of Revenue that the directorate uploads all Customs valuation rulings of imported items on the Web-Based One Customs (WeBOC) clearance system on the same day of issuance.

According to the Directorate, the FATE Wing of the FBR has allocated a separate slot for valuation department and all valuation rulings are uploaded on the WeBOC system the same day. This Table is up-dated almost daily by the Valuation Department.

WeBOC has all information relating to current and previous valuation rulings with a ‘start-date’ and ‘end-date’. “We need to display valid valuation rulings information in the format with searchable criteria,” directorate added.
