Czech Republic wants to promote trade relations with Pakistan: Lukas Musil

RAWALPINDI: Lukas Musil Charge d Affair Czech Republic Embassy has said that Czech Republic keen to promote trade relations with Pakistan and will support each activity which will be initiated in this regard.

He was exchanging these views with the acting President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Mian Humayun Parvez during his visit to on Friday.

Vice President Saboor Malik, former President Syed Ali Raza Saeed Shah, Members Executive Committee and other members were also present on the occasion.

Envoy said that his country is major producer of quality engineering products especially agriculture sector machinery and Pakistan can consider Czech Republic in this regard. He said that IT, telecom and software sectors are booming sectors of Czech Republic and business community of Pakistan can invest in such sectors to strengthen bilateral ties. He stressed the need of arranging B2B meetings and exchange of business delegations frequently to further enhancing trade relations.

Speaking on the occasion Acting President RCCI Mian Humayun Parvez said Pakistan has vast potential for foreign investment in energy, electronic, textile and Gems and Jewellery sector and businessmen of Czech Republic must focus said sector to promote trade links and volume. He said that RCCI waiting for the visit of coming ambassador of Czech Republic to RCCI who will take charge of his office in September this year. He ensured his full cooperation to the Charge d Affair Czech Republic and hoped the RCCI and embassy jointly play their role for trade promotion of both countries.
