Dar calls on World Bank MD Indrawati

ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has called on World Bank Managing Director Sri Mulyani Indrawati and discussed the bank’s programme portfolio in Pakistan.

Finance Minister thanked the World Bank top official for financially supporting for Dasu hydropower project and CASA1000 which were on track. The minister stated that CASA1000 project signing ceremony was scheduled for next week and the project will improve regional integration. Dar hoped that World Bank will continue to support Pakistan in its reforms for energy sector and economic growth.
