Dar orders FBR to take action against liquor company over tax evasion

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has directed the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to take action against a tax evader company – Sun Diplomatic Bonded Warehouse – over Rs 800 million tax evasion.

The minister, during a meeting, also ordered the revenue authority to take action against corrupt Customs employees who deliberately delayed the matter of cancellation of the firm’s licence.
