ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Thursday met senior officials of Ministry of Water and Power and World Bank Lead Water Resources Specialist, Masood Ahmed and discussed with them financial matters relating to Dassu Hydropower project and Tarbela-5 project.
The Minister was informed that along with the World Bank, Chinese and mAustrian investors have evinced deep interest in the Tarbela-5 project.
The Minister hoped that these two important projects would contribute to strengthening the energy sector and help alleviate the problem of energy shortage.
