ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has suspended Muhammad Faisal Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Lahore, for a period of three months with immediate effect.
The competent authority issued the directive exercising powers conferred upon it under section 5(i) of the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973.
Meanwhile, Saeed-ul-Haq, a BS-18 officer of The Bank of Khyber, Peshawar, presently posted as Second Secretary, FBR (HQ), Islamabad, has been repatriated to his parent department i.e. BoK, after Islamabad High Court’s Judgement in writ petition No. 4575 of 2013 dated 31.01.2015. The revenue authority has relieved the officer from his duties with immediate effect.
