ISLAMABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Director General Lutfullah Virk has given directions to all directorates of the Customs Intelligence to take stern action against corrupt officials.
He ordered them to forward the names of officials who are involved in corruption so that they could be transferred to the headquarters.
The DG took immediate action against corrupt officials and ordered the directors, additional directors and deputy directors to investigate the irregularities and complaints of corruption against all such officials.
He also decided to visit the directorates across the country to review the performance of the staff working there. He has given a month to the officials to improve their performance.
