Catheters (a) $32.0/kg and more, as a matter of prove the GDS copies are as attached for review with request kindly review the current valuation of $7.5/kg /China/ others of these items urgently to prevent a heavy losses in national income by way of under invoicing as being doing officially now.

Director General Customs Valuation Syed Tanveer Ahmed in his order stated the petitioner requested to revise the values upwardly for $7.5 to $ 24/kg. The contention of the manufacturer is correct that they are importing needles at $24 – $ 30/kg. Even considering the transaction value, the valuation ruling should have been around S 3.0/kg for item No.3&4 instead of $ 7.5/kg.

Be that as it may, the impugned valuation ruling No.900/2016 dated 04-08-2016 is remanded back to the Director of Customs Valuation for deciding it afresh on merit and in accordance with law and that too after giving the applicant a fair opportunity of hearing within 10 days of issuance of this order.
