KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of coffee in retail packing vide valuation ruling no.845/2016.
As per the details, the customs values of coffee were earlier determined vide valuation ruling no.615/2013. However, M/s Nestle Pakistan, an importer of coffee submitted a reference wherein they requested for revision of the valuation ruling as they claimed that declared values of commercial importers are not true customs values and gross under invoicing is being committed.
In this regard, an exercise was conducted to determine the values of coffee in retail packing under PCT 2101.1120 afresh.
According to the valuation ruling, the customs values of Nescafe Matinal Coffee up to 200 gram all origins have been fixed at $9.0/kg, and above 200 gram $8.0/kg, Nescafe Classic Coffee up to 200 gram all origins at $9.0/kg, and above 200 gram $8.0/kg, Nescafe Gold Coffee up to 200 gram all origins at $18.0/kg, and above 200 gram $16.4/kg, Nescafe Coffee 3in1 (Net content 480 gram) of all origins at $6.64/kg, Maxwell House Coffee up to 200 gram all origins at $11/kg, and above 200 gram $9.0/kg, Maxwell House Selection Coffee up to 200 gram all origins at $19/kg, and above 200 gram $16.5/kg, Davidoff Café Coffee up to 200 gram all origins at $25.25/kg, and above 200 gram $22.20/kg, Coffee Break Instant coffee up to 200 gram Egypt origin at $7.45/kg, above 200 gram at $6.32/kg and 3in1 at 5.50/kg, and other brands of coffee up to 200 gram all origins at $7.45/kg, above 200 gram $6.32/kg and 3in1 at $5.50/kg
