DG Customs Valuation revises customs values of mosquito coil, aerosol insecticide spray

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of mosquito coil and aerosol insecticide spray vide valuation ruling no.846/2016.

According to details, earlier the values of mosquito coil and aerosol insecticide spray were determined some three and half years ago and re-determination was deemed necessary to reflect the current price trend of these goods in the international market.

The customs values of mosquito coil in retail packing under PCT3808.9110 of brands including Power Plus, KinExtra Power, King Blacky, Kingtox, Metro, Tiger, 123, Double A+D, Mosfly, Siyo, Lark Red Killer, Lark Black Hit, Moskill, Sogo, Faster Black Cobra, Cobra, Amorish, Detox, Rocket, Ezee Nights, Zap, Tyfon, Classic, Super Sonic, Maxx, Adore, Kwik and Fighter of all origins are fixed at $0.85/kg; values of other brands excluding multinational brands are fixed at $1.0/kg while mosquito coil without insecticide spray and packing in bulk (other than multinational brands would be assessed to duty and taxes at $0.75/KG.

As per the valuation ruling, the customs values of aerosol insecticide spray Kingtox brand of all origins are fixed at $1.30/kg, aerosol insecticide spray Power Plus, Cobra, HIT, Black Snake and Tyfon brands of all origins at $1.20/kg, aerosol insecticide spray Mos Kill, Fighter, Tiger, Silver, 123, Osaka, Lark, Black Hit, King, Rop and Black Attacker Python, Harmony Attacker, Every Night, Magic, Total Tox, Kwick, Alladin, Superhit, Sogo, KILLTOX, Royal Tox, Ezee Nights, Zap, Faster Black Cobra, Detox, Amorish and Perfect brands at $1.0/kg while all other brands would be assessed to duty and tax at $1.25/kg.
