DG Customs Valuation revises customs values of Refrigeration Gases R-22, R-134a and R-14b

KARACHI: The Directorate General of the Customs Valuation has revised customs  values of Refrigeration Gases R-22, R-134a and R-14b vide Valuation Ruling 790/2015.

The practice to determine the customs values was undertaken under Section 25(A) of the Customs Act, 1969.

According to details, this Directorate General received several references from different stakeholders and importers with a request to revise existing customs values of the said goods in the light of current prices prevailing in the international market.

Accordingly, the customs values of Refrigeration Gas R-22 to be imported from China in Retail Packing would be assessed to C&F at $ 1.75/kg, and ISO Bulk Tank Packing at $ 1.45/kg. While Refrigeration Gas R-134a of China in Retail Packing at $ 3.1/kg and ISO Bulk Tank Packing at $ 2.7/kg. And, Refrigeration Gas R-141b to be imported from China in Retail Packing at $ 2.20/kg.
