LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has appointed sales monitoring teams in top saloons of the city to reach the exact sales volume of the outlets and recover sales tax.
The PRA sources told Customs Today that saloons have failed to satisfy tax collecting officials on their sales volume.
It was said that the beauty parlors were charging highly from their clients but evading sales taxes and are hiding the actual sales volume.
Initially, the PRA has appointed its monitoring teams at the Farazan and Zara Saloon at Gulberg, Maram and Abroo at MM Alam Road, Samia Beauty Salon, Sanuba at MM Alam Road and others.
The PRA teams will maintain the sales record of the parlors during the peak season and detect the actual sales volume.
