SIALKOT: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to conduct special monitoring of the business activities of 50 big industrial units, which had disclosed their income very low against their actual businesses.

According to the senior FBR officials, these 50 big industrial units are located in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts of the Gujranwala Division. These industrial units while filing their annual tax returns concealed their real income.

FBR officials added that the annual taxes of these industrial units were reducing every year despite their growing businesses , as the decline in their annual taxes were detected during the special checking of their official records for the last four consecutive years.
