DG Customs Valuation revises values of perfumes, colognes and deodorants

KARACHI: The Director of Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of perfumes, colognes and deodorants etc vide Valuation Ruling No.811/2016. The brands have been divided into A, B, C, D, E, and F categories.
Accordingly the ‘A’ category brands of perfumes/Eau de toilet, Eau de cologne under PCT 33.03 of all origins will be assessed to duty and taxes at $210.01/KG, ‘B’ category at $108.05/KG, ‘C’ category brands at $49.98/KG, ‘D’ category brands at $28.07/KG, ‘E’ category brands at $15.71/KG and ‘F’ category brands will be assessed to duty and taxes at $7.36/KG.
The ‘A’ category brands of personal deodorants/body spray under PCT 33.07 of all origins will be assessed to duty and taxes at $49.06/KG, ‘B’ category at $21.96/KG, ‘C’ category brands at $3.66/KG, ‘D’ category brands at $2.83/KG, ‘E’ category brands at $1.64/KG and ‘F’ category brands will be assessed to duty and taxes at $1.53/KG.
