KARACHI: A delegation of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA), while meeting with the Director Directorate General of Customs Valuation Wasif Ali Memon, has expressed satisfaction over the revaluation of the pharmaceutical items.
In the meeting with the Director Valuation Wasif Ali Memon, the members of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association said that the revaluation of the pharmaceutical items will help in curbing the smuggling of the pharmaceutical items as well as it will also boost import.
The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association also hailed the work back method adopted by the authorities for better valuation of the pharmaceutical items.
On the other hand Director Customs Valuation Wasif Ali Memon assuring the full support to the delegation of the Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association said that the different items are being revalued with the discussion and satisfaction of the stakeholders to facilitate the importers and to stop the revenue leakage.
