DG Imtiaz Ahmad in Karachi to review anti-smuggling operations

ISLAMABAD: Director General of the Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Imtiaz Ahmed Khan is visiting Custom House Karachi to inspect the ongoing anti-smuggling campaign.

The sources told Customs Today that Imtiaz Ahmad Khan is visiting Karachi Custom Collectorate to discuss the matters regarding on going anti-smuggling campaign. The DG has been scheduled for meetings with different officials of the collectorate .

DG Imtiaz will meet chief collector, Enforcement South Muhammad Zahid Khokhar and will discuss with him the matters relating to ongoing campaign. He will also discuss that how they can curb smuggling and enhance revenue.

Director-general will also meet with Yaqoob Mako the Director, (Customs Anti-Smuggling) during his stay in provincial metropolis.

DG will also hold meeting with Director of Intelligence and Investigation- Customs, Karachi Asif Marghoob Siddiqui and will discuss process of anti-smuggling operations in the city.

Imtiaz Ahmed Khan will also have an important meeting with Customs Preventive Collector Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda and both of officials will discuss matters regarding Preventive Collectorate Karachi the sources told Customs today.

The sources said that DG Imtiaz Ahmed Khan will rejoin the office on Monday after completion of his important visit to Karachi Custom Collectorate. Ends
