IHC disposes of two tax referenes against FBR

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday disposed of two tax references filed against field offices of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Justice Aamer Farooq of the IHC heard the cases filed by M/s Mobi Zone Pakistan and M/s OMV Pakistan Exploration GMBH. The former had filed a case against assistant commissioner Inland Revenue and the latter had filed a case against additional commissioner Inland Revenue, Regional Tax Office, Islamabad.

Meanwhile, the court also issued notices to the FBR and additional commissioner Inland Revenue, regional tax office, Islamabad in cases submitted by M/s China State Construction and M/s Mustehkam Cement Limited. The court has directed the parties to ensure presence before the court on the next date of hearing and adjourned the hearing.
