KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation issued the reference values for Granite slabs worked beyond simply cut or sawn, with a flat or even, washing machine parts and vascular/display chiller.
According to details, the Directorate General is populating Valuation Database Values for different items wherein it has been observed that declarations are of wide range and do not correctly reflect values of the items as traded in the international market.
During the scrutiny of previous clearance data, it has been observed that Granite slabs worked beyond simply cut or sawn, with a flat or even surface falling under PCT heading 6802.9300 are being assessed at different values and certain transactions are on very low side.
The Directorate found that the VDB values of Granite slabs worked beyond simply cut or sawn with a flat or even surface are Granite slabs worked beyond simply cut or sawn with a flat or even surface China origin US$0.40 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the Directorate General also issued Valuation Ruling for washing machines parts. The Directorate General found that the customs values of washing machine parts are plastic pulsator/drain pump/spinning drum/base plate/twin tub/electric cable gasket/spin tub/captive washer/combi nut/door glass China origin US$3.50 per kilogram, drain valve assembly China origin US$35 per kilogram, plastic inlet hose China origin US$8.50 per kilogram, assy printed circuit board parts China origin US$15 per kilogram, suspension rod complete China origin US$20 per kilogram, control penal system/pully/V-Belt China origin US$28 per kilogram and water level switch China origin US$18 per kilogram.
Another Valuation database issued by the Directorate General is vascular/display chiller. The Directorate General found that the customs values of vascular/display chiller China origin US$1.50 per liter.
