DGTT redistributes work among deputy, assistant directors

KARACHI: Directorate General of Transit Trade (DGTT) has issued notification for redistribution of work among deputy/assistant directors with immediate effect and until further orders.

According to notification, Deputy Director Iqbal Ahmed Memon is assigned Examination & Auction and allied matters related to SAPT, KICT & West Wharf; Reconciliation of all categories of transit cargo; TTRMS coordination; Any other assignment entrusted by competent authority.

Earlier, he was looking after Assessment & Processing & Insurance Guarantee Section; Examination, Auction and allied matters related to South Asia Pakistan Terminal (SAPT); Reconciliation of all categories of transit cargo; TIR and Coordination with R&A.

Deputy Director Muhammad Azam is assigned Examination, Auction & allied matters related to PICT, East Wharf and QICT; MIS; Coordination with R&A; WeBOC User IDs; Any other assignment entrusted by competent authority.

Earlier he was looking after Headquarters/Establishment; Budget & Account; Law; MIS; WeB0C User IDs; Audit; I&P; Recovery;  TTRMS coordination; Coordination with TPL for Tracking & Monitoring; Examination, Auction and allied matters related to Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT), West Wharf and FTO matters.

Assistant Director Syed Shahid Hussain Rizvi is assigned Assessment & Processing & Insurance Guarantee Section; Headquarters/Establishment; Budget and Accounts; Law; FTO matters; Audit; I&P; Recovery; Coordination with TPL for Tracking and Monitoring; any other assignment entrusted by competent authority.  He was looking after Examination, Auction and allied matters related to Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT), East Wharf; Qasim International Container Terminal (QICT).
