Director ACE vows to get rid of corrupt officials

SIALKOT: Director Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Gujranwala Division   Shehzad Saeed has vowed to purge the ACE from corruption, saying that the corrupt officials from the Department were being sacked and honest officials were being inducted here to ensure the transparent inquiries of all the pending corruption cases.

Talking to Customs Today, the director ACE announced the early completion of as many as 900 pending inquiries, saying that he has started personal monitoring of these inquires to ensure transparency, besides providing justice to the needy people.

He said that he has transferred as many as 18 employees of ACE on corruption charges and bad reputation, besides, sacking assistant director, sub engineer and two other head constables for having developed links with the corrupt officials and extorting big amounts from them in the several inquiries against them by using their complete departmental influence, in this regard.
