KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) Enforcement Director Samina Tasleem Zohra opposes lavish standards in the office.

According to the source, Director Enforcement Samina Tasleem Zohra has asked the officers to adopt simplicity and should not acquire any out of the box facility.

The source also informed that the director rejected to even get hold of any luxury vehicle for her use as well as any facility that is not in the domain to be availed.

The source further informed that the Director Customs Intelligence Enforcement Samina Tasleem Zohra preferred to use the vehicle that was being used by the former Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Muhammad Asif Marghoob Siddique.

The vehicle Toyota Vigo present in the Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has also been used by the former Director General Imtiaz Ahmed on his arrival in Karachi, the source added.

It is pertinent to mention that Collector, (OPS) Customs Collectorate of Exports Port Muhammad Bin Qasim is posted to the Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&) as Director Enforcement.
