Director Zulfiqar Younas holds workshop on WeBOC, Form-E module for stakeholders

LAHORE: Directorate General of Training & Research (Customs), Lahore has organized a training workshop on “Web Based One Customs (WeBOC) and Form-E module” for  members of Air Cargo Agents Association of Pakistan (ACAAP). The workshop was held in the Pakistan Institute of Management, Lahore. It was inaugurated by Zulfiqar Younas, Director, Directorate  General of Training and Research (Customs) Lahore.

Speaking on the occasion, Zulfiqar Younas, Director, highlighted the merits of  WeBOC and shared the initiatives undertaken by DGTR (Customs) Lahore under its  external outreach program. The program aims at providing need based training to the external stakeholders of the FBR. Earlier, a series of workshops were organized by  the Directorate of Training Customs Lahore on WeBOC and Customs classification and Valuation procedures in collaboration with Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, American Business Forum and SMEDA which were all well attended and highly appreciated by the business community.

Jamil Ahmed, Chairman Events and Training, ACAAP, thanked Zulfiqar Younas and his team for organizing this needs based  workshop at a very short notice. Tauqir Malik Chairman, ACAAP, also appreciated  the initiative and urged the participants to fully utilize the training opportunity.  The workshop was well attended as more than 50 members were present at the  occasion. The participants expressed keen interest in the topic. Ms. Nazia Saleem  Deputy Collector, MCC Appraisement Lahore gave a comprehensive overview of  WeBOC with specific focus on Form-E module. At the end, Ms. Kanwal Ali, Deputy  Director DGTR(Customs) Lahore offered a vote of thanks to the participants.
