DP World Container case: Interior Ministry withdraws name of four persons from ECL

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ministry of Interior has withdrawn the names of four persons from the Exit Control List who were involved in DP World containers scam.

Sources told Customs Today that a female, who is identified as Naila Jamal, is also among them. Sources said that the Customs Intelligence and Investigations had registered 99 FIRs against the suspects but they failed to appear before the court .

Sources said that Naila Jamal holds a license of NG International Company and her husband’s name is Jamal Durrani. It is pertinent to mention here that other people, Shakoor Alam, Faisal Shahzad and Allah Bux, are already acquitted by the customs court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

After withdrawing their names from Exit Control List, the Interior Ministry has forwarded the copies of the letter to all the departments concerned.
