Drug smuggler sentenced to two years and 10 months imprisonment

LAHORE: Special Federal Court of Anti Narcotics has awarded jail term to a drug smuggler who confessed to his crime in the court.

According details available to Customs Today, suspect Ulfat Hussain was arrested by the Anti Narcotics Force when he was making an attempt to smuggle heroin to Thailand. He was caught by the customs officials at Allama Iqbal International Airport in 2014 during checking of his luggage. Customs authorities found 2.2 kilo grams heroin from his bag worth millions of rupees in the international market.
