ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is set to start scrutinising the declaration of assets filed by parliamentarians from December 01 with the help of Federal Board of Revenue and Auditor General, provincial revenue departments and FIA.
The PEC additional secretary will give detailed briefing in the meeting taking place today with reference to scrutiny of assets.
According to the sources in ECP, the scrutiny process in respect of assets of members of National Assembly, provincial assemblies and Senate will commence from December 01 and approval in this regard will be accorded in ECP meeting to be held on Friday (today) in election commission Islamabad office.
Additional secretary Election Commission will give detailed briefing on the modus operandi of scrutinising the assets.
