LAHORE: The employees of the Federal Board of Revenue in Regional Tax Office I and II and Large Tax Payer Unit are disappointed over, what they called, unfair distribution of efficiency rewards.
The Federal Board of Revenue distributes cash rewards every year among the employees who show outstanding performance in tax collection for the financial year.
The employees of RTO I and II and LTU were disappointed and told Customs Today that the authorities also awarded those officials who were either on leave or they did not achieve their targets.
They further told that awards were not given on merit basis but awards were given to those employees who were close to high-ups.
