Three collectively sentenced to 30 years imprisonment in ephedrine case

LAHORE: Additional Sessions Judge Ahmed Kamran issued verdict in 20 kilograms ephedrine case. The judge collectively sent all three guilty persons to jail for 30 years and also fined Rs 300,000.

According to details, Mochi Gate police station filed the case before court against all three accused persons Abdul Wali Khan, Shahid Mehmood and Muhammad Umer in 20 kilograms drugs case.

The deputy persecutor Rana Tanveer Ahmed presents seven eye-witnesses before the court.

The court after hearing the arguments of advocates from both parties announced its verdict and sentenced 30 years prison collectively to all three accused persons and imposed Rs 100,000 fine on each of them.

The convicts will undergo another one year in jail if they failed to pay the fine.

Besides, the court also sentenced 14 months jail term and imposed penalty of Rs 50,000 to Aamar Shah, a resident of Gawalmandi, in case of 1530 grams cocaine.
