Excise arranges farewell for five retiring officials

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department arranged a beautiful farewell luncheon for five of its members who are retiring from the department this month.

At the director general’s office in Shahdman, excise officials arranged a farewell party after Zuhr prayers in the honour of Excise and Taxation officer Paul Omer, excise constable Inayat Butt, driver Muhammad Jameel, Marx Samuel and Abdul Qayum.

A tribute was paid to the services of the officers and other officials who are going to leave the department.

DG Ahmad Aziz Tarar, who was also present at the farewell, appreciated the performance of the officials and wished them a good life ahead.

A number of officers and other staff members were also present on the occasion. At the end of the ceremony, a lunch was arranged for the participants.
