Excise collects Rs 53.202m during 8 months in Jhang

FAISALABAD: The motor registration authority (MRA) of Excise and Taxation Department, Jhang collected Rs 53.202 million during eight months of the current fiscal year. The collected amount is up to 55 percent of the assigned target Rs 96.458 million.

According to details, Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 7.251 million as token tax non tie up (PO) and recovered Rs 18.584 million as token tax tie up. The motor tax branch has collected Rs 8.363 million under the head of token tax tie up (Deptt).

Similarly, the motor registration authority of Excise and Taxation has collected Rs 15.342 million registration fee, Rs 3.131 as transfer fee and collected Rs 0.525 million  under the head of life time car token.
