LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has launched an operation against token tax evaders and unregistered vehicles throughout the province.
According to official sources here, all regions had been directed to carry out special crackdown on the token tax defaulters and unregistered vehicles. The department has constituted different teams who are deputed in different regions.
Excise started crackdown to enhance revenue generation to meet revenue collection target set for fiscal year 2015-16.
