Internal Audit preparing audit paras of cosmetics, toiletries and auto parts

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Internal Audit has started to prepare audit paras related to imported consignments including cosmetics, toiletries and auto parts cleared from all three field formation collectorates i.e. Appraisement-East, Appraisement-West and Appraisement-Port Qasim.

The said audit paras have been started to prepare by the authorities concerned of the Internal Audit following the directions of Director General Dr Jawwad Owais Agha.

The DG asked the subordinates to complete the veracity of all audit-paras related to the cleared consignments of different items, including cosmetics, toiletries and auto parts by the end of current month.

The sources informed this scribe that the audit paras related to the cleared consignments would be sent to the collectorates in the June, 2016 so that those paras would be settled in upcoming budget.
