MULTAN: Excise and Taxation Department has achieved 100 percent target of property tax in Lodhran Division during the first eight months of financial year 2014-15.
Excise Multan has collected Rs.17.2 Million as property tax against the target of Rs.17.1million during July-February. Excise Motor branch has collected Rs.18.5 million during the first eight months in the Lodhran District while the set target for the current fiscal year is RS 43 million.
Department has collected cotton fee almost Rs.14.8 million during first eight months against the assigned target of Rs.24 million for current fiscal year.
Lodhran District has generated Rs 0.7 million as professional tax in the first eight months while the department could not collect tax in wake of entertainment tax due to the unavailability of such sources.
