Excise seals PCSIR lab due to tax evasion of  Rs 20m

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department has sealed Pakistan Councils of Scientific and Industrial Research Laboratory Lahore.

According to sources of Customs Today, in Excise Region B a team of esxcise on special instructions of Director General Akram Ashraf Gondal has seald PCSIR laboratory due to Rs 20 million default of property tax. Sources told that excise had issued many notices to management of the laboratory but they but they failed to clear tax dues.
