KARACHI: The Property Tax department of the Regional Tax Office (RTO) has sealed three private companies involved in tax evasion which are located in the area of Walika.
Sources told Customs Today that the department issued notices to Walika-base three private companies, including, M/s Hozifa Flour Industry, M/s Nabeel Hozri. As per details, the three companies were allegedly involved in tax evasion of Rs 2.7 million. However, the companies failed to deposit their taxes, as a result of which the department sealed their properties.
In another incident, the Excise Department recovered Rs 3.2 million from Al Hamza Estate Plaza which is located in Sadar area of Karachi.
