LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Motor Branch has seized documents of 460 token tax defaulter vehicles in a week during the general holdup.
Motor Branch Director Suhail Arshad said that the department is taking action against tax defaulter and unregistered vehicles effectively as it confiscated the documents of 460 vehicles until the payment of the due tax and arrears. He said that millions of rupees will be collected from tax defaulters in the wake of token tax and registration fee.
The excise officials seized documents during checking of vehicles in Defence, Ghazi Road, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Model Town, Multan Road, Raiwind Road, Ravi Road, Faisal Town, Ghazi Chowk and Shahdara areas.
