KARACHI: The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department is considering hiring new staff to cope with issue of staff shortage.
Talking to Customs Today, Director Excise and Taxation Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqi has said that the department will advertise vacancies in national newspapers. He said that there were complaints regarding shortage of staff. Now the high-ups have given green signal to recruit the new staff.
He further said that our department tried hard to enhance revenue and we passed instructions to enhance the same to concerned officials.
He said we will never accept any kind of carelessness in collection of revenue, and we are planning to launch a comprehensive campaign for vehicle tax recovery.
