Lahore: Excise to seal properties in case of non-payment of tax

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department in Gujranwala will purchase 5,000 new locks to seal the properties over non-payment of property tax.

According to Customs Today sources, Gujranwala Excise has written to higher authorities to purchase locks. As per requisition, the department will purchase 5,000 locks to seal the properties in Gujranwala region. Thousands of people having properties in Gujranwala region have failed to pay their property tax. Many reminders have been sent to these property owners and now the department has decided to seal these properties.
