FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Deputy Collector Asma Hameed has issued Order-in-Original in favour of the anti-smuggling organization Sargodha.
Sources told Customs Today that the anti-smuggling organization had intercepted a Toyota Crown car bearing registration no. Q-1134 within its jurisdiction. That vehicle was brought into the country without payment of customs duty and taxes through an unauthorized route.
The ASO team asked its owner Muhammad Iqbal son of Malik Muhammad Buskh to produce any legal documents regarding possession of the vehicle but he failed to provide any relevant documents in this regard. The ASO team seized the vehicle and forward the case to the customs adjudication who decided the case in favour of ASO Sargodha and declared confiscation of the vehicle as legal.
