Faisalabad adjudication settles 29 cases involving Rs12.400m in February

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Customs Adjudication Collectorate settled about 29 cases involving Rs12.400million during February 2017.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Adjudication issued Order-in-Originals (ONOs) in favour of Faisalabad Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Customs Intelligence and Investigations. It heard 29 cases of cloths, Indian origin food grains, Iranian diesel, cell-phones, carpets, auto-parts, Toyota Corolla, Liqour, cigarettes and toys, which were confiscated during different raids carried out by the customs authorities.

According to monthly statement, Faisalabad Adjudication Additional Collector Beelam-ur-Ramzan settled two cases involving Rs3.300million whereas Deputy Collector Asma Hameed decided 27 cases involving Rs9.100 million and announced decisions in favour of Customs Intelligence and Investigation and anti-smuggling organization.
