Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs 3742.65 million

FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs collected Rs3742.65 million during July-October of fiscal year 2018-19 against the set target of Rs4947.07 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the above-said period.

According to revenue statistics, Faisalabad Appraisement collected Rs1325.87 million under the head of  customs duty against the set target of Rs1373 million in July-Oct of fiscal year 2018-19.

The Collectorate collected Rs3062 million under the head of sales tax during the above-said period against the set target of Rs3521 million.

Faisalabad Appraisement collected Rs 7.67 million under the head of withholding tax (WHT) during the above said period against the assigned target of Rs53 million.

It is pertinent to mention here that Assistant Collector Ameer Ahmed directed to further expedite the pace of revenue generation for getting more effective results.
