Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs 438.474m in ten days

FAISALABAD: The Customs Appraisement collected Rs 438.474 million during the first ten days of June 2018 against the assigned target of Rs 483.51 million.

According to the statistics available data with Customs Today Customs Appraisement collected Rs 161.032 million as customs duty against the set target of Rs 152.47 million.

The Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD) sales tax (ST) income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the above said period. The Collectorate collected Rs 276.494 million against the set target of Rs 328.25 million.

While it collected Rs 0.949 millions in wake of income tax during the above said period against the set target of Rs 2.79 million. It have no collection under wake of federal excise duty (FED).

Assistant Collector Ameer Ahmed said that the department already issued notices to a number of tax defaulters in recent month asking them to clear outstanding tax dues at the earliest to avoid stern action.
