Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs 598.8m in September

FAISALABAD: The Customs Appraisement has collected Rs 598.8 million during month of September, 2016 against the set target of Rs 415 million by achieving it up to 144 percent.

Sources told to Customs Today that Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the period.

According to the statistics available data with it collected Rs 138.723 million as customs duty against the set target of Rs 72 million and achieved it by 193 percent.

The collectorate surpassed the target set for sale tax by 139 percent as it collected Rs 455.781 million against the set target of Rs 329 million.

The Collector Appraisement collected Rs 4.295 million in wake of income tax during the said period against the set target of Rs 14 million that has been achieved up to 31 percent.
