Faisalabad Appraisement generates Rs1425m surplus collection

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate, Appraisement, surpassed the allocated revenue target set for the first seven months (July-January) of the Fiscal Year2016-17 as it collected Rs6304.37million against the set target of Rs4879.56million. So the surplus collection is Rs1425million.

As per details, the custom appraisement was assigned Rs3842million target in the wake of sales tax and it surpassed the target by121 percent since it collected Rs4664.23million during said period. Under the head of customs duty, it collected Rs1567.29million against the target of Rs842million by achieving the target up to 186 percent.
