Faisalabad ASO holds 2,345 yards of smuggled woven fabric

FAISALABAD: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad seized 2,345 yards of dyed woven fabric worth Rs 1.8 million involving duty/taxes amounting to Rs 275,347.

The ASO team on the instructions of the Collector Tauseef Ahmad Qureshi conducted operation to foil the smuggling bid. The team intercepted a mini truck bearing Registration No. LXC-9089 near Narwala Chowk Faisalabad and recovered woven fabric.
