ASO Jhang seizes generator worth Rs 3.2 million

FAISALABAD: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Jhang seized a diesel generator worth Rs 3.2 million, besides impounding a mini truck worth Rs 500,000.

On information received through Faisalabad Deputy Collector Rana Irfan Ahmad Shauqat, the ASO team intercepted a truck on Shorkot Road near Jhang and recovered a diesel generator.

The ASO team asked the driver to produce legal documents but he remained failed to do so. Therefore, the ASO team seized the generator and truck, besides serving notice on two accused Muhammad Riaz and Ansari Mini Goods to appear before the court.

The ASO team comprising Superintendent Zahid Raza Bukhari, Inspector Asghar Mehdi Naqvi, Shaukat Khan Mujuhid Abbas and other took part in the raid.

The ASO team has submitted the seizure report to adjudication for deciding the case.
